About this asset

This contemporary room divider for SketchUp features a white metal frame housing alternating marble panels and clear glass inserts. This freestanding room divider consists of a slim, white-finished metal framework supporting a series of geometric, rounded-end panels. The composition balances solid and void, with opaque marble-patterned inserts alternating alongside transparent glass sections. The design is structured around vertical rods that anchor the screen, providing a sense of lightness while maintaining structural integrity. The varied sizes of the circular and capsule-shaped elements create a rhythmic, semi-permeable barrier that allows light to filter through while defining spatial zones. Its clean lines and neutral palette make it a versatile architectural element for modern interiors.

The download is a 1.3 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is best utilised as a component to ensure easy placement and scaling within your floor plan. The geometry is organised into logical layers, allowing you to quickly toggle the visibility of the marble textures or the glass components if needed. Apply your own high-resolution PBR materials to the frame and surfaces to suit specific lighting conditions, and use the component instances to adjust the overall width of the screen to fit your project's specific dimensions.

Ideal for open-plan residential layouts, this screen functions as a sophisticated spatial separator between living and dining areas. It is equally suited for high-end hospitality projects, such as hotel lobbies or restaurant dining rooms, where a subtle visual boundary is required without sacrificing the sense of openness. Use this in your interior design concepts when looking to add texture and architectural interest to a room. Search for it when sourcing modern partitions, decorative screens, or custom room dividers for contemporary design schemes.
