About this asset

This contemporary 3-seater tufted sofa for 3ds Max features a white fabric finish, deep button detailing, and slender wooden legs. This three-seater sofa exhibits a refined contemporary aesthetic, defined by its deeply tufted button-back and armrest detailing. The upholstery is a light, neutral-toned fabric, providing a clean and versatile appearance. It sits on tapered, dark-stained wooden legs that offer a subtle contrast to the soft textile body. Included in the composition are three decorative accent cushions, featuring a mix of houndstooth pattern and solid navy blue, alongside a draped textured throw blanket. The overall proportions are generous, creating a balanced silhouette suitable for a variety of sophisticated interior settings.

The download is a 19.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this model into a 3ds Max scene, merge the file into your master project and ensure the pivot point is aligned with the floor plane for accurate placement. The textures are mapped for standard renderers; check the material editor to ensure all fabric shaders and displacement maps are correctly linked. Given the tufted geometry, verify that the smoothing groups or turbosmooth modifiers are applied appropriately to maintain the intended detail while managing scene memory effectively.
