About this asset

This contemporary kids wardrobe and shelving set for SketchUp features a playful two-tone design with house-shaped and arched niches. This storage set consists of two distinct units designed for a child's bedroom or playroom. The primary unit is a large wardrobe featuring solid white doors framed in a neutral beige, accented by a vertical, open-faced terracotta shelving column with an integrated house-shaped cubby. The companion unit is a modular shelving system with a beige exterior and terracotta-lined arched compartments of varying sizes. Both pieces utilise clean lines and a soft, warm colour palette, making them suitable for modern residential interiors that require organised, visually engaging storage for toys, books, and clothing.

The download is a 83.7 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Professionals can integrate this SketchUp model by importing it as a component into the project file. The geometry is organised into logical groups, allowing for easy placement against walls or within alcoves. Users should ensure the model is scaled correctly to match the project's floor-to-ceiling heights. Materials are applied as standard textures, which can be easily adjusted or replaced within the SketchUp material editor to coordinate with the specific colour schemes of the interior design concept.

These pieces are ideal for residential projects, specifically children's bedrooms, nurseries, or dedicated play areas. They provide a practical yet aesthetic solution for display and concealed storage, pairing well with soft textiles and neutral wall finishes. Designers searching for modern nursery furniture, bespoke kids bedroom storage, or modular shelving units will find this set highly functional. It is best suited for the conceptual design phase where visual character and spatial planning are prioritised in the development of family-oriented residential spaces.
