Contemporary Walnut Storage Cabinet and Sideboard Set

This contemporary 3ds Max storage set features a walnut sideboard and a matching magazine display cabinet with metal accents. This storage set comprises a rectangular low-profile sideboard and a vertical magazine display unit. The sideboard features a clean, blocky silhouette with eight square drawer fronts finished in a rich walnut veneer, accented by minimalist metallic square pulls. The accompanying display cabinet mirrors this aesthetic, incorporating an inclined open rack for periodicals at the top, a series of central storage drawers, and closed lower cabinets with light-toned panels. The entire assembly is elevated on a sturdy, industrial-style metal base, providing a balanced contrast between the warm wood tones and the cool metallic elements.

The download is a 61.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this set is organised into logical groups, allowing for independent positioning of the sideboard and cabinet. Users should ensure the pivot points are set to the base for easy placement on floor geometry. The materials are mapped using standard coordinates, making it straightforward to adjust the wood grain orientation or swap the metal finish if required. Lighting the scene requires careful consideration of the metallic hardware reflections to ensure the materials appear realistic within the final render engine environment.
