About this asset

This contemporary 6-seater dining set for 3ds Max features a solid walnut live-edge table paired with grey upholstered metal chairs. The ensemble comprises a rectangular dining table with a prominent live-edge finish, highlighting the natural grain and irregular profile of the timber. It is supported by a robust, central base structure. Accompanying the table are six dining chairs, each featuring a curved, upholstered seat and backrest in a neutral grey fabric. The chairs are finished with slim, gold-toned metal legs, providing a refined contrast to the organic warmth of the wooden tabletop. A small decorative vase with dried botanical elements is included as a central accessory, completing the cohesive visual composition of the set.

The download is a 20.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 7 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this set is organised by object type, allowing for easy selection and manipulation of the chairs versus the table. Users should check the material IDs and texture mapping upon insertion to ensure the walnut grain aligns correctly with the model scale. The gold metal finishes on the chair legs are set up with standard reflective properties, which can be adjusted in the material editor to match specific lighting environments or render engine requirements for high-quality architectural visualisation.

This dining set is suited for high-end residential dining rooms, boutique hotel restaurants, or staging projects requiring a blend of organic texture and contemporary elegance. It pairs effectively with minimalist interior schemes or warm, modern aesthetics. Professionals often search for live-edge dining furniture to add a focal point to open-plan living spaces. The set is ready for use in interior design visualisations, providing a realistic, ready-to-populate solution for dining area layouts where a balance between artisanal craftsmanship and sleek, modern metal detailing is desired.
