Contemporary Walnut Bar Scene with Hanging Hexagonal Luminaires

This contemporary 3ds Max scene features a complete walnut bar counter with integrated back storage and cluster lighting. The scene comprises an L-shaped bar counter finished in warm walnut veneer, featuring a curved corner section and panelled detailing. A matching back bar unit provides integrated storage, a sink, and a black refrigerator. The setup is illuminated by a cluster of hexagonal pendant lights suspended at varying heights, complemented by two black wire-frame pendants over the counter area. Two upholstered bar stools with slender metal legs complete the arrangement. The design balances dark wood tones with functional, modern equipment, creating a professional and cohesive aesthetic suitable for high-end hospitality environments.

The download is a 84.2 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this 3ds Max scene into a project, users should manage the lighting cluster carefully to ensure optimal performance. The model is organised with logical hierarchy, allowing for easy adjustment of materials or individual light elements. It is recommended to use an HDRI environment map for realistic reflections on the metal and wood surfaces. Ensure all assets are merged into the master file using the layer manager to maintain project organisation and control object visibility during viewport rendering.

This bar scene is ideal for hospitality projects, including hotel lobbies, high-end cafe interiors, and boutique retail spaces. It provides a ready-to-render solution for architects and visualisers working on commercial fit-outs. Designers can utilise this setup to quickly populate floor plans or as a base for custom bar design iterations. It pairs effectively with neutral floor finishes and ambient lighting schemes, making it a versatile asset for rapid concept development and final client presentations in various commercial building typologies.
