About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max TV wall unit features a walnut-finished panel with white vertical cladding and a charcoal floating shelf. The assembly comprises a large, vertical timber-look panel in a warm walnut finish, providing a backdrop for a central white panel section. Mounted directly onto this structure is a floating, low-profile media shelf finished in a dark charcoal tone, designed for minimalist storage beneath a wall-mounted display. The composition is clean and geometric, relying on the contrast between the wood grain and the solid light and dark surfaces. Decorative objects are included to demonstrate scale. The unit is designed as a singular, cohesive architectural element for modern media wall applications.

The download is a 9.6 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into a 3ds Max project, ensure the wall-mounted unit is aligned with the room's primary partition wall. Users should check the pivot point for correct placement against surface planes. Materials are typically assigned to separate sub-objects, allowing for easy adjustment of the wood grain direction or colour tint to match the wider interior palette. Standard lighting setups will interact well with the defined surface finishes, though checking the reflection settings on the charcoal shelf is recommended for realistic highlights.

This media wall unit is suited for high-end residential living rooms, home cinemas, or open-plan apartments where a clean, decluttered aesthetic is desired. It pairs effectively with minimalist seating and neutral wall treatments. Professionals searching for integrated media storage solutions, wall-mounted display systems, or contemporary living room furniture will find this asset useful for visualising interior layouts. It is particularly effective in residential projects where the design requires a singular focal point that combines vertical paneling with functional, elevated storage.
