About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max TV unit features a rich walnut-brown wood frame contrasted by clean white drawer fronts and open shelving. Designed for modern living spaces, this TV unit balances warm wood tones with a crisp, minimalist aesthetic. The structure comprises a robust walnut-brown carcass housing four side-mounted drawers—two on each end—flanking a central open storage section. This central space is split into two horizontal tiers, ideal for housing media consoles, soundbars, or decorative objects. The drawers feature a sleek, handleless design, maintaining a clean profile across the front. The proportions are low and elongated, providing a stable, visually grounded base for flat-screen televisions and associated entertainment hardware in a contemporary interior setting.

The download is a 2.9 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised with logical material IDs, allowing for straightforward texture mapping and material adjustments. Users should check the scale upon insertion to ensure it aligns with standard living room furniture dimensions. As the model uses standard geometry, it is efficient to merge into a scene and can be easily placed against a wall or beneath a wall-mounted television. Adjust the cabinet height using the pivot point at the base to ensure perfect alignment with floor levels.

This TV unit is highly versatile for residential projects, particularly within living rooms, media rooms, or open-plan family areas. Its neutral, clean-lined aesthetic pairs well with modern sofas, area rugs, and minimalist wall treatments. Designers often search for this type of media console when specifying furniture for apartments or family homes where efficient, stylish storage is required. It serves as a functional focal point, bridging the gap between practical AV storage and curated interior design, especially in projects favouring a warm, contemporary palette.
