About this asset

This contemporary kitchen island set, modelled in 3ds Max, features a marble-topped workspace with walnut cabinetry and two matching bar stools. The assembly comprises a linear kitchen island with a dark, white-veined marble countertop that extends to form a breakfast bar. The base cabinetry is finished in a warm-toned walnut veneer, featuring a combination of handleless drawers and cupboard doors. Two minimalist bar stools with slender metal frames and white moulded seats complement the island's clean, geometric profile. Above the counter, a sculptural, linear pendant light with a continuous illuminated loop provides a focal point. The unit includes a recessed cooktop and sink, demonstrating a functional layout typical of high-end residential kitchen design.

The download is a 32 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 4 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Users should import this asset into their 3ds Max scene using the merge command to preserve layer structures and material assignments. The model is organised by component, allowing for individual adjustment of the stools or light fixture. Ensure the pivot points are correctly set at the base of the island for accurate placement on the floor plane. Texture maps for the walnut grain and marble veining should be re-linked if paths are broken during the initial file load.

This kitchen island is suitable for high-end residential interiors, luxury apartment developments, and hospitality projects such as boutique hotel suites. It works well in open-plan living areas where the kitchen serves as a social hub. Designers can use this set to populate kitchen renders, residential kitchen design proposals, or interior visualisations requiring a sophisticated, ready-to-use culinary station. It pairs effectively with modern cabinetry, neutral wall palettes, and task lighting, making it a versatile choice for contemporary architectural projects.
