About this asset

This contemporary 8-seater dining set is a SketchUp model featuring a walnut-framed marble-top table and matching upholstered chairs. The ensemble consists of a large, rectangular dining table paired with eight matching armchairs. The table features a striking, thick-cut marble slab top with deep grey and white veining, supported by a solid walnut frame with rounded, sculptural legs. Each chair mirrors this aesthetic, constructed from matching walnut timber with a curved, wrap-around backrest. The backrests feature a diamond-quilted fabric detail, while the seat pads are upholstered in a neutral, light-grey textile. The overall design prioritises organic curves and high-contrast material pairings, suitable for refined contemporary dining spaces.

The download is a 97.2 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 9 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this set is organised into components to facilitate easy placement and individual adjustment. Users should ensure the model is scaled correctly within their project environment before applying materials. Because the textures for the marble and wood grain are pre-mapped, simple adjustments to the texture projection may be required if scaling the model significantly.

This dining set is ideal for high-end residential projects, luxury apartments, and boutique hospitality interiors. It serves as a strong focal point in open-plan dining rooms, formal banquet areas, or executive meeting suites. Designers often specify this style for spaces requiring a balance of warmth and sophistication. It pairs effectively with minimalist pendant lighting, neutral area rugs, and timber flooring.
