Contemporary Walnut and Glass Sliding-Door Wardrobe

This contemporary SketchUp wardrobe features four sliding glass doors framed in black metal with a rich walnut-finish timber carcass. This sophisticated storage unit combines a warm walnut-effect timber frame with sleek, full-height sliding glass doors. The design incorporates a distinct open-shelving column on the right side for decorative display. Internally, the unit is structured for visibility, featuring integrated lighting that highlights the shelving arrangement behind the glass. The dark metal profiles provide a sharp contrast to the wood grain, creating a refined aesthetic suitable for high-end interiors. The proportions are balanced, offering a blend of enclosed storage and accessible display space, making it a versatile piece for modern living areas or bedrooms.

The download is a 420 KB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this component is structured with nested groups for easy manipulation. Users can apply custom material textures to the timber surfaces or adjust the transparency of the glass panels to suit specific render requirements. The sliding doors are grouped separately, allowing for precise positioning or opening in a scene. It is best practice to place this model on a dedicated layer to manage visibility during complex modelling tasks, ensuring the file remains lightweight and easy to navigate within larger interior projects.
