Contemporary Walnut and Charcoal Work Desk with Integrated Shelving

This contemporary 3ds Max work desk set features a walnut-finished surface, integrated charcoal shelving, and a matching white ottoman. This integrated workspace solution combines a horizontal wall-mounted desk with a tall, vertical shelving unit. The desk surface is finished in a warm walnut veneer, featuring a slim profile with integrated drawers. A matte charcoal structure supports the shelving unit, which provides multiple open tiers for books and decor. The set is completed by a cylindrical, upholstered ottoman in a neutral white fabric, offering a soft contrast to the clean, linear geometry of the desk. The composition is balanced, providing both functional work surface and vertical storage in a single, cohesive design.

The download is a 53.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 3 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is structured as a single assembly for easy placement within a scene. Users should check the pivot point for alignment against wall planes. The materials are assigned via standard multi-sub-object IDs, allowing for quick adjustments to the wood grain or fabric textures. The desk and shelving are grouped, but can be easily ungrouped for custom configurations or to adjust the shelving height relative to the desk surface to fit specific room floor-to-ceiling heights.

This desk set is suited for residential home offices, compact study nooks, or modern bedroom interiors where space efficiency is required. It pairs well with minimalist wall treatments and neutral flooring. Professionals searching for integrated furniture solutions will find this useful for projects requiring a tailored, built-in aesthetic without the need for bespoke joinery. It works effectively in both small apartment layouts and larger, multi-functional living areas, providing a dedicated zone for remote work or study while maintaining a clean, contemporary visual profile.
