About this asset

This contemporary L-shaped corner bookcase for 3ds Max features a sleek combination of dark charcoal frames and warm walnut timber panels. Designed as a corner-fitting storage solution, this piece integrates open shelving, closed cabinetry, and a central desk surface. The primary structure is finished in a matte charcoal, providing a bold contrast to the rich walnut-toned wood grain used on the door fronts and internal shelving surfaces. The layout is asymmetrical, offering varied storage heights and a dedicated niche for a workstation or display area. The construction is clean-lined and geometric, suitable for modern interiors that require efficient use of corner space while maintaining a sophisticated, minimalist aesthetic throughout the furniture ensemble.

The download is a 49.9 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers for easy manipulation of the cabinet doors and shelf elements. Users should check the pivot points for the door geometry to ensure correct rotation during animation or staging. The material slots are assigned by component, allowing for quick adjustments to the wood grain orientation or charcoal finish intensity. Ensure the model is scaled correctly to your scene units before merging, as this unit is designed for standard ceiling heights.

Ideal for residential home offices, study rooms, or high-end living areas, this corner bookcase maximizes vertical storage in compact footprints. It pairs effectively with minimalist office chairs and task lighting. Professionals typically search for this type of unit when planning custom joinery layouts, wall-to-wall storage configurations, or functional corner workstations. The piece is suited for both contemporary apartment designs and professional home studio setups, providing a structured, organized look that minimizes visual clutter while highlighting decorative items and books.
