Contemporary Upholstered Lounge Seating Collection

This contemporary lounge seating set for 3ds Max features four distinct pieces including an armchair, a circular chaise, and modular benches. This collection comprises four unique lounge seating elements, each showcasing distinct forms and upholstery textures. The set includes a plush, tufted grey armchair with decorative cushions, a circular blue velvet chaise with a minimal metal frame, an organic-shaped orange fabric lounge chair with tapered legs, and a red upholstered modular bench system. Each piece is defined by its specific silhouette, ranging from soft, quilted textures to smooth, structured velvet surfaces. The diverse designs provide a range of seating options suitable for various interior arrangements, from relaxed residential reading corners to sophisticated hotel lobby lounge areas.

The download is a 63.2 MB file containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 4 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating these assets into 3ds Max, ensure each model is placed on a dedicated layer for efficient scene management. The high-quality geometry allows for close-up shots, while the modular nature of the benches permits easy customisation in larger layouts. Apply standard material assignments to the fabric and velvet textures, adjusting the glossiness and bump maps to suit your specific lighting environment. Use a neutral HDRI to accurately capture the subtle highlights on the velvet surfaces and the depth of the quilted fabric.
