About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max lounge chair features a distinct two-tone fabric shell and slim metal legs for a modern aesthetic. Defined by its organic, shell-like silhouette, this lounge chair offers a balanced composition of comfort and structural minimalism. The exterior of the curved backrest is upholstered in a deep forest green fabric, providing a rich contrast to the lighter beige seat cushion integrated within the shell. The internal padding creates a soft, inviting profile, while the slender, dark metal legs provide a stable and understated base. Its proportions are tailored for relaxed seating, making it an ideal accent piece for interior spaces requiring a blend of soft textures and clean, architectural lines.

The download is an 8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into a 3ds Max scene, ensure the object is placed on the zero-plane to maintain correct scale relative to standard floor heights. Users should check the material editor to verify texture mapping on the curved shell surfaces, ensuring the fabric grain aligns correctly with the geometry. The asset utilizes standard layer structures, allowing for easy selection and adjustment of the leg and upholstery components independently during the lighting and final rendering setup process.
