Contemporary Transparent Acrylic and Wood Dining Chair Set

This contemporary SketchUp model features a set of dining chairs with transparent acrylic shells and light wood frames for modern interiors. The chair design balances a minimalist aesthetic with functional material contrast. Each unit features a moulded, semi-transparent grey acrylic shell that provides a lightweight visual profile, supported by a sturdy, four-legged natural wood base. The joinery between the seat and frame is understated, ensuring clean lines from every angle. The set includes variations in frame geometry, with some models featuring integrated armrests and others maintaining a side-chair silhouette. The proportions are balanced for standard dining or task heights, offering a versatile seating solution that maintains transparency in small or high-density architectural spaces.

The download is a 38.8 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 3 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these models are organised as components, allowing for efficient placement and modification within your scene. Use the scale tool to adjust to specific project requirements while maintaining material proportions. The texture mapping on the acrylic components is pre-applied, though users may need to adjust transparency settings or reflection properties within their preferred rendering engine to achieve the desired light refraction. Layers or tags are maintained to simplify management when populating larger dining or office layouts.
