Contemporary Teal Leather Channel-Tufted Armchair with Cushion

This contemporary teal leather armchair is a SketchUp model featuring distinctive vertical channel tufting and a single accent cushion. This compact armchair features a fully upholstered frame finished in a deep teal leather. The design is defined by its vertical channel-tufted backrest and seat, creating a rhythmic, textured surface across the primary seating area. The chair sits on a low-profile, dark-toned base that provides a subtle floating appearance. Included is a square, white textured scatter cushion, which adds contrast to the saturated upholstery. The proportions are low and wide, suitable for lounge settings where a modern, structured silhouette is required. The overall construction emphasizes clean lines and a refined, tactile finish.

The download is a 4.2 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When integrating this SketchUp component into a scene, ensure the model is placed on the correct layer to manage visibility during rendering. The file contains clean geometry, allowing for easy material replacement or texture scaling on the leather surfaces. If the model appears overly dense, consider using native SketchUp tools to soften edges or reduce hidden geometry. For lighting, place the chair near an ambient light source to highlight the depth of the channel-tufted details and the texture of the included white cushion.

This armchair is ideal for residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or modern office breakout areas. It pairs well with minimalist coffee tables or as part of a curated reading nook. Designers will find this piece useful when searching for accent seating that offers both comfort and a strong visual focal point. Its versatile contemporary style fits seamlessly into various interior schemes, from high-end residential projects to professional hospitality environments, providing a sophisticated touch to any lounge or reception space.
