Contemporary Tan Leather Swivel Armchair with White Base

This contemporary swivel armchair, modelled in SketchUp, features a tan leather seat shell mounted on a slender white metal base. This contemporary armchair showcases a distinct organic silhouette, featuring a moulded shell upholstered in smooth tan leather. The design incorporates a high, flared backrest that transitions into integrated armrests, providing a supportive and ergonomic lounge profile. The seat is supported by a minimalist four-pointed star base finished in a clean white coating, which allows for a swivel function. The contrast between the warm, textured leather and the stark, angular white metal base creates a balanced visual appeal suitable for modern interiors requiring a refined yet functional accent seating solution.

Within SketchUp, this component is structured as a single group or component, allowing for easy placement and orientation within your interior scenes. Users can quickly apply custom materials to the shell or base by accessing the native material editor. Since the geometry is clean and lightweight, it integrates seamlessly into larger project files without impacting performance. Ensure the model is placed on a dedicated furniture layer to maintain scene organisation during the design development phase and for efficient viewport management.

This armchair is ideal for residential living rooms, executive home offices, or boutique hotel lobby spaces where a compact lounge chair is required. It pairs effectively with minimalist coffee tables or as a standalone reading chair in a quiet corner. Its neutral colour palette ensures it complements various interior styles, from professional workspaces to relaxed, upscale living environments.
