Contemporary Tan Leather Swivel Armchair with Metal Base

This contemporary swivel armchair, modelled for 3ds Max, features a rich tan leather upholstery with distinctive tufted detailing. Designed with a focus on ergonomic comfort, this swivel armchair showcases a deep, tan-coloured leather finish that highlights natural texture. The seat and backrest are integrated into a single, fluid shell, featuring subtle tufted detailing on the interior backrest for added visual depth. It sits atop a sleek, four-pronged metal base finished in a dark, polished tone, providing a sharp contrast to the soft, warm tones of the leather. The proportions are compact yet inviting, making it a versatile choice for various interior styles, from high-end corporate lounges to residential living areas.

The download is a 6.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this asset is structured for straightforward integration into your scene. The model is presented as a clean, single object, allowing for easy placement and rotation. Material slots are clearly defined, enabling quick adjustments to the leather sheen or metal base reflections to match your specific lighting environment. Use standard transform tools to position the chair, and ensure your pivot point is correctly aligned at the base for accurate rotation if animating the swivel feature within your architectural visualisation workflow.

This armchair is an ideal addition to modern living rooms, executive home offices, or boutique hotel lobbies. It pairs effectively with minimalist side tables or as a standalone accent piece in a reading nook. Designers searching for comfortable lounge seating will find this piece highly adaptable for both residential and commercial projects. Its professional aesthetic makes it suitable for staging contemporary interiors, where it serves as a sophisticated focal point without overwhelming the surrounding furniture arrangement or the overall spatial layout.
