About this asset

This contemporary tan leather L-shaped sofa, modelled for 3ds Max, features a chaise configuration and includes a set of plush scatter cushions. Defined by clean, linear geometry, this L-shaped sofa is upholstered in a rich, textured tan leather that provides a warm, tactile finish. The design incorporates a fixed chaise section on the left, supported by slim, black metal legs that lift the frame to create a sense of lightness. The piece is accessorised with a variety of scatter cushions in complementary shades of deep brown, olive green, and patterned textiles, adding depth to the seating area. The overall proportions are balanced for domestic comfort, maintaining a low profile while ensuring robust structural support.

The download is a 65.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into 3ds Max scenes, ensure the unit scale is aligned with your project requirements before merging. The leather and fabric materials are mapped for realistic light interaction, though users should verify the reflection settings on the leather to suit specific lighting environments. The model is organised into logical layers, allowing for the easy adjustment or removal of individual scatter cushions to refine the composition as needed for high-quality architectural visualisations.

Ideal for sophisticated residential living rooms, this sofa serves as a primary focal point in open-plan lounge areas or luxury apartment projects. It pairs effectively with low-profile coffee tables and patterned area rugs to create a curated, grounded seating arrangement. Professionals searching for a versatile sectional piece will find this suitable for both modern and transitional interior schemes, providing a comfortable yet refined aesthetic for hospitality lobby spaces or high-end residential staging where a statement piece is required.
