About this asset

This contemporary 2-seater sofa is a 3ds Max model featuring tan leather upholstery and a slim black metal frame for modern interiors. The sofa features a clean-lined, rectangular silhouette balanced by soft, slightly distressed tan leather upholstery that provides a relaxed, lived-in aesthetic. It is structured as a 2-seater configuration with two distinct cushions for the seat and backrest, which are framed by low-profile, boxy armrests. The entire assembly sits upon a slender black metal base, which elevates the structure and contributes to its light, airy visual footprint. The stitching details along the edges of the cushions and arms highlight the tailored construction, offering a sophisticated contrast to the supple, organic texture of the leather.

The download is a 16.6 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into a 3ds Max scene, ensure the object is placed on the floor plane using the pivot point at the base of the legs. The leather material should be managed via the material editor to adjust reflection and bump maps to suit your specific lighting environment. Use standard snapping tools to align the sofa against walls or within furniture groupings. If necessary, apply a UVW map modifier to maintain consistent texture scaling across the various upholstered surfaces during final scene rendering.
