Contemporary Red Velvet Low-Profile Armchair with Cushion

This contemporary 3ds Max armchair features a low-profile, plush red velvet frame and includes a matching decorative scatter cushion. Defined by its deep, low-slung silhouette, this contemporary armchair prioritises comfort through its heavily padded, voluminous construction. The piece is upholstered in a rich red velvet fabric that catches light across its soft, rounded edges. The design consists of a wide, integrated seat base and backrest, complemented by a single, lightweight square cushion placed at the corner. Its oversized proportions and sink-in aesthetic suggest a relaxed, informal seating experience suitable for modern lounge environments. The absence of visible legs reinforces its grounded, monolithic appearance, making it a bold focal point for any interior setting.

The download is a 47 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is managed as a single asset with organised sub-objects for easy material adjustments. Users should check the scale upon insertion to ensure it fits the intended scene proportions. The velvet material uses standard mapping, which may require minor tiling adjustments depending on the desired level of detail in close-up renders. The cushion is provided as a separate element, allowing for flexible placement or removal to suit specific composition needs when setting up interior lighting and camera angles.
