About this asset

This SketchUp model set features three distinct contemporary curved modular sofas, each upholstered in fabric with metal legs. This collection includes three sculptural, curved sofa configurations designed for modern interiors. The first is a compact circular-style unit with a high sweeping backrest. The second is a long, low-profile arc-shaped sectional finished in a neutral grey, accented with a variety of scatter cushions. The third model is a larger, vibrant red L-shaped modular sofa with a deep seat and multiple back cushions. Each piece is supported by slender metal legs, providing a clean, floating aesthetic. The forms are fluid and organic, intended to act as central focal points in open-plan living spaces or hotel lobbies.

The download is an 11.7 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 3 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these models are organised as components, allowing for easy selection and repositioning within your scene. Use the scale tool to adjust dimensions to fit specific floor plates, or explode the components to modify the geometry of the modular sections. The materials are applied as standard textures; you can replace these with custom PBR maps or adjust the diffuse colour to suit your interior palette. Ensure the models are placed on a dedicated furniture layer to maintain a clean and manageable project file.

These sculptural sofas are ideal for high-end residential projects, executive office lounges, and boutique hotel lobbies where a statement piece is required. They pair well with minimalist coffee tables and large-scale area rugs to define seating zones in expansive rooms. Use these assets when searching for curved sectional sofas, modern lounge seating, or modular living room furniture. Their distinct shapes offer a departure from traditional rectilinear designs, adding a layer of visual interest to both neutral and bold contemporary design schemes.
