About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max model of a pink leather hooded armchair features a polished silver frame and two contrasting blue cushions. This statement armchair features a distinctive high-backed, hooded silhouette that creates an enclosed, private seating experience. The interior upholstery is finished in a textured pink leather, complemented by a structural, polished silver metal frame that outlines the curved canopy and cabriole-style legs. The seat includes two plush, deep blue decorative cushions that provide a sharp colour contrast to the soft pink tones of the main body. Its proportions are generous, designed for comfort and visual impact in lounge settings, with the curved metal ribs reinforcing the dome-like structure of the backrest.

The download is a 3.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When using this asset in 3ds Max, ensure the model is placed on a level plane to correctly align the cabriole legs. The leather and metallic materials are assigned to separate material IDs, allowing for easy adjustment of reflection parameters or base colour tints. Use the included cushions as separate objects to adjust their placement or rotation within the seat pan, ensuring they do not intersect with the backrest geometry during final rendering setup.

This armchair functions as an eye-catching accent piece in luxury residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or sophisticated reading nooks. It pairs well with minimalist side tables or as a standalone feature in a bedroom suite. Professionals searching for statement seating, high-back lounge chairs, or unique interior design accents will find this model suitable for both contemporary and eclectic project styles. Its bold form and colour palette make it ideal for high-end hospitality environments and residential design schemes requiring a focal point.
