About this asset

This contemporary 3-seater sofa is a 3ds Max model featuring a fully tufted, button-back off-white fabric upholstery design. This 3-seater sofa features a consistent deep-buttoned tufting pattern across the entire frame, including the seat, backrest, and rolled-style arms. The piece is finished in a neutral, off-white textured fabric that provides a clean, soft aesthetic. Its low-profile, blocky silhouette lacks visible legs, creating a grounded, monolithic appearance. The proportions are generous, designed for comfort with a continuous seating surface that flows seamlessly into the armrests. The button detailing is uniform, creating a rhythmic grid of indentations that adds depth and tactile interest to the overall form of the furniture.

The download is a 3.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this 3ds Max model into a scene, ensure the pivot point is set to the base for easy floor-level placement. The geometry is clean, allowing for straightforward material assignment or adjustment of the fabric texture mapping. Use standard object snapping to align the sofa against walls or within seating arrangements. If the scene lighting is high-contrast, consider adjusting the bump or displacement maps on the tufted upholstery to maintain detail in the button indentations during final rendering.

This piece is well-suited for high-end residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or modern lounge areas where a statement seating element is required. Its neutral colour palette pairs effectively with diverse interior schemes, from minimalist to more ornate, classic-inspired settings. Professionals often search for this type of button-tufted furniture when specifying pieces that offer both comfort and a structured, sophisticated look. It serves as an excellent focal point in formal sitting rooms or as a comfortable addition to an expansive open-plan layout.
