Contemporary Off-White Fabric Chrome Armchair

Contemporary off-white fabric armchair with a tubular chrome frame, rendered as a 3ds Max model for high-end interior visualisations. This contemporary armchair features a distinct, industrial-inspired tubular chrome frame that defines its geometric silhouette. The seating assembly consists of an off-white fabric-upholstered seat base and a matching cylindrical headrest, supported by a structured, grid-like metal frame. The design balances rigid, polished metallic elements with soft, padded components, creating a sophisticated contrast in texture and form. The slender armrests are integrated into the primary frame, while the overall construction emphasises a lightweight, open aesthetic suitable for modern living spaces. The upholstery exhibits subtle, natural creasing, providing a realistic appearance for close-up architectural renders.

The download is a 10.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Designed for 3ds Max, this model arrives as a clean asset ready for scene integration. Users should assign material IDs to the chrome frame and fabric surfaces, ensuring standard reflection maps are applied to the metal for optimal light interaction. The geometry is organised into logical layers, allowing for efficient manipulation of the seat and frame components. Standard surface modifiers can be applied to adjust smoothing, while global illumination settings should be tuned to capture the characteristic highlights on the polished tubular structure.
