About this asset

This contemporary SketchUp model features a triple-layer fabric curtain set with sheer, patterned, and solid drapes for layered window dressing. The assembly comprises three distinct curtain panels mounted on a concealed track system. The innermost layer consists of a sheer white fabric that diffuses natural light. The middle layer features a subtle, fine-scale houndstooth or grid pattern in neutral tones, while the outermost layer is a solid, opaque beige textile providing privacy and light control. Each panel is rendered with realistic vertical pleats and folds, suggesting a heavy, high-quality fabric weight. The set is presented in a domestic interior context, demonstrating its ability to add texture and softness to a room's perimeter.

The download is a 88.5 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is managed as a group or component, allowing for easy scaling to match specific window heights and widths. Users should ensure the curtains are positioned against the wall or ceiling track and adjust the material mapping if custom fabric textures are required. Because the geometry includes complex folds, it is best to place this asset on a dedicated layer to maintain viewport performance, using tags to toggle visibility during the active modelling phase.

These curtains are suitable for residential living rooms, master bedrooms, and high-end hotel suites where a layered window treatment is desired. They pair effectively with contemporary furniture, such as the included marble-topped coffee table and upholstered armchair, to create a cohesive, curated look. Professionals searching for soft furnishings, window dressings, interior decor, or textile assets for architectural visualisations will find this model useful for adding realism to interior scenes, particularly when aiming for a refined, balanced aesthetic.
