About this asset

This contemporary 3-seater sofa 3ds Max model features deep navy velvet upholstery with classic button-tufted detailing and tapered legs. Defined by its generous proportions and tactile velvet finish, this three-seater sofa showcases a sophisticated button-tufted design across the front apron and rolled arms. The deep navy upholstery provides a saturated base, complemented by a curated selection of throw cushions in muted grey, sage, and patterned monochrome fabrics. The frame sits on low-profile, light-toned tapered feet, lifting the piece slightly off the floor to maintain a clean silhouette. Its structured backrest and seat cushions offer a balance of comfort and formality, suitable for high-end residential interiors or boutique hotel lounge areas.

The download is a 6 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Within 3ds Max, this asset is provided as a cohesive unit with grouped geometry for easy scene placement. Users should verify the pivot point at the base for accurate floor alignment. The velvet material uses a standard shader setup, which can be easily adjusted for scale or reflectivity to match specific scene lighting conditions. Ensure all textures are correctly mapped within the native render engine environment before merging into a project file to maintain consistent material quality across the scene.

Ideal for residential living rooms, master suites, or luxury commercial lobbies, this sofa acts as a primary statement piece. It pairs effectively with minimalist coffee tables or traditional sideboards, grounding the space with its rich colour and textured fabric. Designers looking for a comfortable yet refined seating option will find this model useful for interior visualisation, particularly in projects focusing on mid-century or contemporary aesthetics.
