Contemporary Natural Wood Rectangular Work Desk

This contemporary SketchUp scene features a natural wood work desk with a distinctive fluted base, set within a refined office environment. The desk features a clean, rectangular tabletop supported by two robust, fluted cylindrical bases. Crafted from a warm-toned natural wood, the piece balances architectural weight with a streamlined profile. It is presented as part of a complete interior vignette, including a complementary upholstered dining-style chair, a sculptural black stool, and integrated shelving units. The design leans into a contemporary aesthetic, prioritising clean lines and textural contrast between the smooth timber surfaces and the rhythmic verticality of the fluted supports, making it a focal point for high-end professional or residential study spaces.

The download is a 51.4 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, this model is organised into logical components, allowing for easy selection and modification of individual elements. The wood grain mapping is pre-applied, ensuring consistent scaling across the desk surfaces. Users can leverage the native layer structure to toggle visibility of the surrounding scene objects, such as the lighting and decorative accessories. When integrating this into a larger project, simply import the component, align the origin to your floor plan, and adjust the lighting parameters to match your specific rendering environment.
