Contemporary Natural Wood and White L-Shaped Entryway Bench

This contemporary L-shaped entryway bench, designed in 3ds Max, features a natural wood slat wall and a functional cushioned seat. This L-shaped entryway unit combines a vertical timber slat wall with a clean-lined white base, creating a cohesive corner structure. The seating section is topped with a dark, upholstered cushion, while the adjacent return provides a minimalist surface for small accessories or a decorative plant. The vertical wood grain of the slats provides a rhythmic texture that contrasts against the smooth, matte white finish of the bench frame. Proportions are balanced for residential or light commercial foyers, offering a dedicated spot for changing shoes while maintaining a structured, architectural aesthetic within a small footprint.

The download is a 21.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised with clear layer separation for the timber slats, the upholstered seating, and the primary structural frame. Users can easily adjust the material IDs to swap the wood finish or fabric colour to suit specific interior palettes. The geometry is clean, allowing for efficient placement within larger hallway scenes. When importing, ensure the pivot point is set to the base for precise alignment against corner walls, and apply appropriate lighting to highlight the depth of the slat detail.

This piece is well-suited for modern residential entryways, compact apartment lobbies, or boutique commercial waiting areas where space efficiency is a priority. It functions as a focal point in a hallway, pairing effectively with minimalist wall lighting or a large floor mirror. Designers searching for functional mudroom furniture, corner storage solutions, or integrated seating elements will find this asset versatile for various project stages, from initial concept visualisations to final rendered interiors requiring a refined, contemporary look for high-traffic circulation spaces.
