About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max kitchen island set features a natural wood base, a speckled stone countertop, and three matching bar stools. This kitchen island set comprises a rectangular island unit and three coordinating bar stools. The island base is constructed from vertical timber slats with a rich, natural grain, supporting a thick, light-grey speckled stone countertop that overhangs to provide knee space for seating. The three bar stools feature curved wooden backrests and frames, complemented by slender, white-finished metal footrests. Two small stone bowls are included as tabletop decor. The assembly demonstrates a balanced mix of warm organic textures and clean, modern lines, suitable for open-plan living areas or high-end hospitality environments.

The download is a 9.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 4 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is managed via a clean layer structure, keeping the island and stools as distinct objects for easy placement. Users should check the material IDs to ensure proper texture mapping, particularly for the stone grain and wood finish. The stools can be repositioned or removed independently to suit specific floor plans. For optimal rendering, adjust the light reflection settings on the stone top to capture the natural speckled surface detail effectively.

This island set is ideal for modern residential kitchen designs, open-plan apartments, and boutique cafe interiors. It works well as a central focal point in a breakfast nook or a social hub in a hospitality project. Designers often search for these units when specifying high-end kitchen joinery or seeking a cohesive look for a small bar area. It pairs effectively with contemporary pendant lighting and minimalist kitchen cabinetry, providing a functional yet aesthetically refined solution for informal dining and social interaction.
