About this asset

This contemporary hallway storage unit is a SketchUp model featuring a tall rattan-fronted cabinet, integrated bench, mirror, and coat hooks. Combining functionality with a light, organic aesthetic, this hallway piece incorporates a vertical storage cabinet with a woven rattan door panel and a slatted wood backing. The unit features an integrated bench seat topped with a plush, off-white upholstered cushion, providing a convenient space for putting on shoes. A tall, rectangular mirror is set flush into the vertical panel, flanked by subtle hooks for outerwear. The entire structure is finished in a warm, natural wood tone, creating a cohesive look that balances textural contrast between the smooth wood grain and the open-weave rattan detail.

The download is a 6.1 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is structured with grouped geometry, allowing for easy placement and orientation within an entryway or mudroom. The materials are applied as standard textures, which can be adjusted via the material tray to match specific scene lighting or render engine requirements. Users should ensure the unit is aligned against a wall surface to maintain its intended architectural context. As a single-component asset, it is straightforward to scale or modify, provided the UV mapping for the rattan and wood grain textures is preserved.

This piece is ideal for residential entryways, mudrooms, or compact lobby areas where space-saving, multi-functional furniture is required. It pairs well with minimalist or Japandi-inspired interiors, serving as a focal point for arrival and departure zones. Designers might search for this item when specifying hallway furniture, entryway storage solutions, or compact cloakroom systems. Its versatile design integrates seamlessly into modern apartment layouts or family homes, offering a practical yet stylish solution for managing outerwear, footwear, and daily essentials in one consolidated, space-efficient footprint.
