About this asset

This contemporary console table for SketchUp features a natural wood top supported by an asymmetrical base of mirrored steel. This console table presents a striking study in material contrast, pairing a textured, natural wood tabletop with a highly reflective, asymmetrical base. One side is supported by a slender, polished metal leg, while the opposing side features a substantial, sculptural pedestal finished in a high-gloss mirrored surface that reflects its surroundings. The proportions are lean and elongated, making it suitable for narrow circulation spaces. This piece functions as a deliberate focal point, blending organic wood warmth with the sharp, clean lines of modern metallic finishes to create a sophisticated, avant-garde aesthetic.

The download is a 58.8 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is structured as a component to ensure easy placement and scaling within your interior scenes. Users should manage the mirrored material carefully; applying a high-reflectivity setting or using a dedicated render plugin will best capture the intended aesthetic of the polished base. Ensure the model is aligned to your floor plane using the base contact points, and verify that the wood grain mapping is oriented correctly to match your project's specific lighting conditions and architectural style.

This console is an ideal addition to high-end residential entryways, luxury hotel lobbies, or boutique retail showrooms where a statement piece is required. It pairs well with minimalist wall art, sculptural lighting, or curated decorative objects like bonsai or ceramics. Professionals searching for feature furniture, hallway storage, or modern accent tables will find this piece effective for establishing a refined, contemporary atmosphere. Its unique base design works particularly well in spaces that require visual interest without occupying excessive floor area.
