About this asset

This 3ds Max dining set features a rectangular slatted wood table and six rope-back armchairs with black metal frames. This contemporary dining set comprises a rectangular table with a slatted natural wood tabletop supported by a minimalist black metal frame. Accompanying the table are six armchairs, each featuring a slender black metal structure and woven white rope detailing on the backrests and seats. The proportions are balanced, offering a clean, lightweight aesthetic suitable for both indoor and outdoor dining environments. The table surface exhibits clear wood grain textures, while the chairs provide a contrast between the rigid geometric frames and the tactile, organic texture of the woven rope elements.

The download is a 5.6 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 7 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this set is organised with logical layer naming, allowing for easy selection of the table or individual chairs. Use the instancing feature for the chairs to maintain a manageable poly count when populating larger scenes. The materials are mapped using standard coordinate systems, making it straightforward to adjust the wood grain scale or the metal finish reflectivity to match your project lighting requirements. Ensure the model origin is set at the floor level for efficient placement.

Ideal for modern residential kitchen-diners, covered terraces, or boutique hospitality projects, this dining set integrates well into open-plan layouts. It pairs effectively with minimalist interior schemes or naturalistic outdoor settings. Professionals often search for versatile slatted wood dining tables or rope-detail seating when specifying furniture for patio areas or contemporary dining rooms. The neutral palette ensures compatibility with a range of flooring materials, from polished concrete to natural stone paving or timber decking, providing a cohesive look for diverse architectural styles.
