About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max coffee table set features two circular nesting tables with a natural wood top and a grey base. This nesting coffee table set comprises two distinct circular units designed to overlap for a compact footprint. The smaller table features a natural wood veneer top with a visible grain pattern, supported by a solid cylindrical base in a matte grey finish. Its counterpart is a larger, low-profile drum table entirely finished in a matching matte grey. The contrasting heights and materials provide a balanced, modern aesthetic suitable for various interior schemes. The clean lines and geometric forms allow the pieces to function as a cohesive focal point or be separated to accommodate different spatial requirements.

The download is a 16.9 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this set into a 3ds Max project, import the model and maintain the grouping to ensure the nesting relationship remains intact. The materials are structured for standard layered shaders, allowing for easy adjustment of the wood grain scale or the matte finish on the grey surfaces. Use the pivot points provided to animate the nesting movement, or place them individually to suit the room layout. Ensure proper light mapping to capture the subtle reflections on the solid drum base.

These nesting tables are ideal for residential living rooms, boutique hotel lounges, or contemporary office breakout areas. Their versatile design pairs effectively with modular sectional sofas or minimalist armchairs, offering a flexible surface solution for smaller footprints. Professionals often search for these items as space-saving coffee tables, round nesting sets, or contemporary accent furniture. They integrate seamlessly into projects requiring a clean, understated aesthetic, providing both functional utility and a refined decorative element to modern interior designs and staging layouts.
