About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max dining set features a round natural wood table with a fluted base and four black timber chairs with white upholstery. The set comprises a circular dining table supported by a substantial, vertically fluted cylindrical base in a warm natural wood finish. Accompanied by four minimalist dining chairs, the design pairs a dark black-stained timber frame with a curved backrest that flows seamlessly into the arm supports. The seat pads are upholstered in a light, off-white fabric, providing a clean contrast to the dark wood structure. The proportions are balanced for intimate dining spaces, with the chairs designed to tuck neatly under the table edge, maintaining a tidy profile when not in use.

The download is a 36.2 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 5 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised with logical layer naming to facilitate easy manipulation of the table and individual chairs. Users should ensure the pivot points are correctly placed at the base of each object for efficient placement within a scene. Materials are mapped using standard coordinates, allowing for quick adjustments to the wood grain or fabric texture if required. Lighting should be set up to highlight the subtle shadows within the fluted table base for a realistic finish in final renders.

This dining set is well-suited for modern residential dining rooms, boutique hotel breakfast areas, or contemporary cafe interiors. Its clean, neutral aesthetic pairs effectively with minimalist interiors and Scandinavian-inspired spaces. Professionals might search for this when sourcing furniture for open-plan living areas, apartment staging projects, or compact restaurant seating layouts. The design is versatile enough to complement both light, airy palettes and moodier, high-contrast interior schemes, providing a functional yet refined focal point for any dining arrangement or social gathering space.
