Contemporary Mixed Material Hanging Swing Chair Set

This contemporary SketchUp set features four distinct hanging and floor-mounted swing chairs, each with unique material finishes. This collection comprises four diverse swing chair designs, ranging from circular metal-framed hoops to woven basket-style seats and a rectangular suspended daybed. Each piece is meticulously detailed with cushions, upholstery, and structural supports, including chains for ceiling suspension and curved metal stands for floor-standing models. The materials include dark-stained wood, woven synthetic fibres, and brushed metal, complemented by a selection of textured fabric cushions in neutral and vibrant tones. These models vary in geometry, offering a mix of organic curves and clean lines suitable for diverse interior and exterior design schemes.

The download is a 51.1 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 4 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these models are organised into distinct components, allowing for easy selection and placement within your scene. Use the move and rotate tools to position the chairs as needed, or adjust the chain length by modifying the vertical component geometry. Materials are applied as standard textures, which can be easily swapped or adjusted in the materials tray to match your specific project palette. Ensure these are placed on a dedicated layer to maintain scene organisation during the design process.
