Contemporary Meditating Buddha Sculpture on Driftwood

A 3ds Max sculpture featuring a meditating Buddha figure posed on a piece of dark driftwood, suitable for serene interior accents. This decorative sculpture presents a contemplative Buddha figure finished in a high-gloss, off-white ceramic glaze. The figure is depicted in a meditative seated position, resting upon a singular piece of dark, matte-finished driftwood. The contrast between the organic, irregular texture of the wood and the smooth, reflective surface of the ceramic creates a focal point of visual interest. The composition is designed to be suspended, adding a sense of weightlessness to the arrangement. Every detail, from the draped robes to the subtle facial features, is crafted to evoke a tranquil, minimalist aesthetic.

The download is a 36.6 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Within 3ds Max, this model is structured for straightforward integration into interior scenes. Users should verify pivot points to ensure correct orientation if adjusting the suspension cables. Materials are mapped to separate the ceramic Buddha from the charred-effect wood base, allowing for individual texture adjustments or shader replacements. Due to the reflective nature of the ceramic finish, ensure the surrounding scene lighting is set up with an appropriate environment map to capture accurate highlights and maintain the intended aesthetic balance of the object.
