Contemporary Light Grey Fabric L-Shaped Sofa Scene

This contemporary SketchUp scene features a light grey fabric L-shaped sofa with a chaise, paired with nesting tables and decor. This L-shaped sectional sofa features a clean, contemporary silhouette upholstered in a light grey fabric. The configuration includes a dedicated chaise section on the left, providing extended lounging space. Deep seat cushions and matching scatter cushions provide a relaxed, comfortable aesthetic. The set is presented in a complete living room vignette, including a two-tier nesting coffee table with a light wood top and a secondary white surface, both supported by dark metal frames. A striped area rug grounds the arrangement, while a framed piece of wall art adds a focal point to the composition.

The download is a 40.8 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Users should import this SketchUp model directly into their project environment as a component. Given the scene includes multiple elements, it is best practice to place the model on a dedicated layer, allowing for easy toggling or modification of individual items. The materials are mapped for standard SketchUp rendering workflows, though users may wish to adjust texture scaling or reflective properties depending on the desired level of realism. The geometry is grouped logically, facilitating quick adjustments to the rug, tables, or sofa arrangement as needed.

This furniture set is suited for residential interior design projects, particularly for styling modern living room layouts, open-plan apartments, or high-end hospitality lounge areas. It provides a balanced, ready-to-use arrangement for architectural visualisation and space planning. Designers can use this model to quickly populate floor plans or create eye-level perspectives to demonstrate seating capacity and furniture flow. It pairs well with neutral interior palettes and works effectively in mid-to-large scale residential developments where a cohesive, contemporary aesthetic is required for marketing or client presentations.
