About this asset

This contemporary double bed for SketchUp features a distinct houndstooth-patterned fabric upholstery and a clean, minimalist frame. This contemporary double bed is characterised by its structured upholstered headboard and matching base frame. The design features a bold houndstooth textile finish, providing a sophisticated graphic contrast to the neutral bedroom environment. The overall proportions are balanced for standard residential master suites, prioritising both visual comfort and structural clarity in its form.

The download is a 53.6 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this bed into a SketchUp scene, import the component and place it using the move tool against your designated wall partition. The model is organised into logical groups, allowing for easy adjustment of individual bedding elements or the bed frame itself. Apply your own custom textures to the fabric components if a different colour palette is required. Ensure the model is correctly scaled to the room dimensions before finalising lighting, as the geometry is designed to interact well with standard ambient light settings.

This bed is ideal for modern residential master bedrooms, luxury apartment staging, and boutique hotel room visualisations. It pairs seamlessly with matching bedside tables, minimalist wall panelling, and contemporary lighting fixtures. When searching for this asset, designers often look for terms like upholstered double bed, modern bedroom furniture, or patterned fabric bed to find suitable pieces that establish a focal point. It works effectively in both bright, airy spaces and moodier, high-contrast interior design concepts, providing a versatile foundation for various bedroom layouts.
