About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max dining set features a grey stone-top rectangular table paired with a leather armchair and a wire chair. The set comprises a rectangular dining table with a textured grey stone surface and a central dark pedestal base, offering a refined, minimalist aesthetic. Accompanied by two contrasting chairs, the arrangement balances material textures effectively. One chair is a mid-century inspired design with a black frame, leather seat, and backrest, while the other is a minimalist wire-grid chair with a sleek metallic finish. The combination of industrial metalwork, organic leather, and the heavy stone tabletop creates a versatile focal point for sophisticated interiors, emphasizing clean lines and balanced proportions throughout.

The download is a 40.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 3 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this set into a 3ds Max scene, import the model and ensure the textures are correctly mapped to the stone, leather, and metal components. The individual objects are typically grouped for ease of placement, but can be ungrouped to adjust the chair positions around the table. Use standard material editors to refine the glossiness of the stone and the metallic finish of the wire chair, ensuring lighting setups complement the varied surface reflectivities.

This dining set is suited for modern residential dining rooms, boutique hotel breakfast areas, or high-end cafe interiors where a curated, eclectic look is desired. It pairs well with minimalist wall treatments, concrete flooring, or timber accents. Professionals searching for a balanced dining arrangement will find this set useful for staging contemporary apartments or luxury hospitality projects during the design development phase, where the contrast between the stone table and the varied seating styles adds visual interest to the space.
