Contemporary Grey Metal Wall-Mounted Display Shelving Unit

This contemporary grey metal wall-mounted display shelving unit for 3ds Max features a modular grid design with varied compartment sizes. Constructed from a dark grey metallic frame, this wall-mounted shelving unit features a distinctive grid-based composition. The design incorporates a mix of square and rectangular compartments, offering diverse storage configurations for decorative objects, ceramics, and books. The outer edges of the frame feature soft, curved corners, providing a subtle contrast to the otherwise geometric, linear structure of the internal partitions. The unit is presented as a single, cohesive wall-mounted fixture, designed to serve as a focal point for curated displays in living spaces or commercial showrooms, maintaining a clean, minimalist aesthetic throughout.

The download is an 11.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this asset is typically handled as a single mesh object, allowing for straightforward placement on vertical wall planes. Users should ensure the pivot point is positioned at the rear surface for easy alignment. The metallic finish can be adjusted via standard material editors to suit specific lighting conditions, while the open-grid structure allows for the integration of custom lighting or additional decor assets to populate the individual compartments effectively.

Ideal for sophisticated residential living rooms, home offices, or high-end retail environments, this shelving unit provides an elegant solution for feature walls. It works well when paired with minimalist furniture, contemporary lighting, and curated decor sets. Professionals looking for wall-mounted storage solutions will find this piece useful for projects requiring clean lines and structured display space. It is commonly specified for interior design schemes where a balance between functional storage and aesthetic presentation is required, particularly in modern apartment or boutique office designs.
