Contemporary Grey Marble Square Coffee Table

This contemporary 3ds Max coffee table features a square grey marble top balanced on a clean white structural base with a lower shelf. Defined by its geometric composition, this coffee table presents a square top finished in a grey marble veneer, providing a tactile contrast to the smooth, matte white frame. The structure incorporates a solid lower shelf, adding both stability and additional surface area for books or decorative items. The proportions are low and wide, typical of modern lounge furniture. The design is minimalist, focusing on the interplay between the heavy stone surface and the lightweight appearance of the white support elements. It includes a decorative glass vase and book as part of the model set.

The download is a 7.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised with logical layer naming, allowing for easy selection of the tabletop and base components. Users can adjust the marble texture mapping to suit specific render requirements, while the simple geometry of the base facilitates quick material overrides or colour changes. The object is provided with standard pivot points at the floor level, making it straightforward to snap into place within a living room scene or lounge area layout without further adjustment or complex alignment processes.

Ideal for residential living rooms, hotel lobbies, and executive waiting areas, this coffee table anchors a seating arrangement effectively. It pairs well with low-profile sectional sofas or armchairs in neutral palettes. Designers often search for this type of square table to provide a focal point in open-plan spaces where clean lines and functional storage are required. It is a versatile piece for contemporary interior design projects, particularly when aiming for a balanced, sophisticated aesthetic in lounge environments or high-end office reception zones.
