About this asset

This contemporary 6-seater dining set for 3ds Max features a dark marble table with a fluted pedestal and grey upholstered chairs. This dining ensemble comprises a rectangular table with rounded corners and a polished dark marble top, supported by a substantial fluted cylindrical pedestal base. Accompanying the table are six minimalist dining chairs, each featuring rounded upholstered backs and slim tapered metal legs in a matching dark finish. The set is completed by a linear multi-light pendant fixture with spherical glass shades. The proportions are balanced for modern living spaces, blending the organic veining of the stone tabletop with the clean, structured lines of the pedestal and the soft, textured appearance of the fabric seating.

The download is a 13.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 7 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers for easy manipulation of the chairs, table, and lighting elements. Users should check the pivot points for the chairs to ensure efficient placement around the table. Materials are applied using standard mapping, allowing for quick adjustments to the marble reflection or fabric bump maps. The linear pendant light is a separate group, enabling independent height adjustment to suit specific ceiling drops or room elevations when staging interior scenes.

Ideal for high-end residential dining rooms, luxury apartments, or boutique hotel breakfast areas, this set provides a cohesive look for contemporary interiors. It pairs effectively with neutral wall palettes and hardwood or polished concrete flooring. Professionals searching for a complete dining solution will find this asset useful for mid-to-high-end project visualisations. It is particularly effective for staging open-plan kitchen-dining areas where a statement table is required to anchor the space and complement modern, sophisticated furniture schemes.
