About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max sectional sofa features grey leather upholstery and a single white fabric cushion in an L-shaped configuration. Defined by clean, linear geometry, this L-shaped sectional sofa presents a low-profile aesthetic suitable for modern living environments. The primary structure is clad in a muted grey leather, showcasing subtle tension and natural texture across the seat and backrest cushions. A single, contrasting white fabric throw cushion is positioned on the chaise end, adding a layer of tactile variety to the assembly. The frame maintains a consistent depth, with integrated armrests and a base that sits close to the floor, providing a grounded presence within a room layout.

The download is a 46.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this asset is structured for efficient scene integration. Users should verify the scale against the project floor plan upon insertion, as the model is supplied as a single modular unit. The leather and fabric materials are mapped with standard texture channels, allowing for easy adjustment of reflection or bump intensity to match specific lighting setups. The geometry is clean, ensuring predictable behaviour when applying global illumination or ambient occlusion passes during the final render phase.

Ideal for residential living rooms, high-end hotel lounges, or modern office breakout areas, this sectional sofa serves as a primary anchor for social seating arrangements. It pairs well with minimalist coffee tables, textured area rugs, and ambient floor lighting. Designers often search for this type of piece when specifying 'contemporary sectional sofa' or 'grey leather seating' for open-plan layouts. Its neutral palette ensures versatility, making it a reliable choice for projects ranging from minimalist apartments to sophisticated commercial lobby spaces.
