Contemporary Grey Grid Shelving Unit with Decorative Objects

This contemporary SketchUp model features a grey grid shelving unit curated with a diverse collection of neutral-toned decorative objects. The shelving unit is constructed as a structured five-by-four grid, finished in a uniform matte grey tone that provides a clean, neutral backdrop for styling. Each cubby is populated with a curated selection of decorative items, including ceramic vases, abstract sculptures, stacked hardcover books, and glass vessels. The objects exhibit a cohesive palette of whites, beiges, and soft greys, maintaining a minimalist and contemporary aesthetic throughout. The arrangement is balanced, mixing vertical and horizontal orientations of books with sculptural forms to create visual interest while maintaining an organised, uncluttered appearance suitable for professional interior visualisations.

The download is a 95 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is managed as a single component or group, allowing for easy placement and rotation within a interior scene. Users should utilise the native layering system to separate the shelving frame from the individual decorative accessories, facilitating customisation or removal of specific items. The geometry is clean, ensuring efficient performance when rendering. Texture mapping is applied to the objects, so users can easily adjust material properties, such as reflectivity on the glass or the diffuse finish of the ceramic pieces, to match specific lighting setups.
