About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max coffee table features an asymmetric grey glass surface and a circular brass accent with wood inlay. This low-profile coffee table is defined by its fluid, asymmetric organic silhouette. The main tabletop is constructed from a smoked grey glass, providing a sleek, reflective surface. Centred on the top is a circular brass disc featuring a natural wood grain inlay, adding a tactile contrast to the glass. The structure is supported by slender, minimalist legs, maintaining a clean and unobtrusive aesthetic. The inclusion of a small decorative bird and a book suggests a scale suited for a refined living space, balancing functional surface area with sculptural design elements.

The download is a 12.2 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised with logical layer naming for easy selection and material management. The glass and brass surfaces are assigned separate material IDs, allowing for quick adjustments to reflection, refraction, and metalness values. Users should ensure the model is snapped to the floor plane upon import. The object is scaled to standard coffee table height, making it ready for placement in interior scenes without requiring significant geometric modifications, provided the scene's units are correctly set to match the native file.

Ideal for high-end residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or executive lounge areas, this piece anchors a seating arrangement with its distinct profile.
