About this asset

This contemporary double bed is a 3ds Max model featuring a low-profile frame and a split-cushion upholstered headboard in grey fabric. This platform-style double bed features a minimalist aesthetic defined by its low-profile frame and soft, rounded edges. The entire base and the split-cushion headboard are fully upholstered in a textured, light grey fabric. The design emphasizes comfort through its plush, slightly oversized headboard cushions, which provide a relaxed, informal silhouette. The base is flush to the floor, maintaining a clean, grounded appearance that avoids traditional legs. The set includes the mattress and pillow components as shown, finished with neutral white bedding that contrasts subtly with the muted grey tones of the upholstery.

The download is a 44.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this bed into a 3ds Max scene, merge the file into your master project file, ensuring the pivot point is set to the base for easy placement. The geometry is organized logically, allowing for easy material assignment or texture adjustments to the fabric mapping. Use standard scene lighting to highlight the soft shadows under the frame. If scaling is required, apply uniform transforms to maintain the proportions of the headboard cushions and the frame thickness while keeping the bedding textures aligned.

This bed is suitable for residential bedrooms, luxury hotel suites, or boutique guesthouse interiors where a contemporary, soft-furnished look is desired.
