About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max sofa set features a tufted grey fabric sofa, a matching ottoman, and a live-edge wooden coffee table. This three-piece furniture set comprises a low-profile, multi-density foam sofa with distinctive button-tufted upholstery, a square matching ottoman, and a rustic live-edge coffee table. The sofa and ottoman are finished in a neutral grey textile, exhibiting a soft, relaxed silhouette. The coffee table serves as a natural contrast, featuring a thick, irregular wood slab top supported by slender, black powder-coated steel hairpin legs. Decorative elements included in the scene comprise a small stack of books and a dark ceramic vessel, adding authentic detail to the composition.

The download is a 74 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 3 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this set is organised by object type for efficient scene management. Users should check the modifier stack for any active smoothing or subdivision settings to balance visual quality with viewport performance. Materials are applied using standard mapping, allowing for quick adjustments to the fabric texture or wood grain scale. When merging into a larger project, ensure the pivot points are aligned to the base of each object for precise placement on floor surfaces.

Ideal for residential living rooms, casual lounge areas, or boutique hotel lobbies, this set provides a relaxed, inviting aesthetic. It pairs well with minimalist or bohemian interiors, serving as a focal point in open-plan spaces. Professionals searching for lounge furniture or conversation area layouts will find this combination effective for quick interior visualisations. The set works particularly well in projects requiring a balance between soft, comfortable seating and organic, raw material textures like wood and metal.
