About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max sectional sofa set features a grey fabric finish, including a chaise, matching ottoman, and coffee table. This sectional sofa set features a low-profile design with a linear, channel-tufted seat area and a long chaise section. The upholstery is a neutral grey textile, complemented by several scatter cushions in varying patterns, including a houndstooth print and a solid tan accent. The set is accompanied by a low, square coffee table with a dark top and white base, along with a matching standalone rectangular ottoman. The aesthetic is clean and modular, focusing on geometric forms and textural contrast through the mix of upholstery and smooth surfaces.

The download is a 40 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 3 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this set is typically managed using layers to separate the sofa, ottoman, and coffee table for easier scene manipulation. Users should ensure the pivot points are correctly placed at the base of each object for efficient positioning on floor plans. Materials are applied as standard multi-sub-object textures; adjusting the tiling or UV mapping of the fabric may be necessary to match specific project scales or lighting conditions within your interior visualisation environment.

Ideal for modern residential living rooms, open-plan apartments, and high-end lounge areas, this set provides a cohesive seating arrangement. It works effectively in contemporary interior design projects where a neutral, versatile palette is required. Professionals often search for modular seating, sectional layouts, or complete living room furniture sets when staging renderings for real estate or interior design proposals. Pair this with minimalist floor lamps, textured area rugs, and subtle wall art to complete a balanced, functional, and stylish domestic space.
